MARSHALL-PUTNAM FARM BUREAU FOUNDATION

2024-2025 AG EDUCATION GRANT FOR $250.00

(Three winners will be chosen.)

Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom is a program coordinated by the Illinois Farm Bureau and partners of the program. Our goal is to help students gain a greater awareness of the role of agriculture in their everyday lives.  This grant is to help teachers implement an Ag in the Classroom Program into their lesson plans. If you would like more information on how to incorporate agriculture into your lesson plans, please contact Marshall-Putnam Ag in the Classroom Coordinator Katharine Girone at girone1@illinois.edu. You can also contact Tiffany Moodie at manager@mpfarmbureau.org. Please print or type your answers.

Please Note - New Requirement

By Friday May 9, 2025, a short overview and/or a picture of the project/event will be required.  If you send a picture, please make sure we can use it for our publication, in the event we decide to do an article for our insert. Please email this to manager@mpfarmbureau.org.  These will be shown to the Farm Bureau Foundation Board so that they can have a tangible record of how the grant is promoting agriculture in the classroom. We don’t need receipts. Also, the Marshall-Putnam Farm Bureau Foundation Grant must be acknowledged in any press release (if done), notes sent home to parents, or any posts about the project. You can provide this information at any time upon completion of the project. If we have not heard from you by May 9, 2025, we will reach out to you by email to remind you of this new requirement. Thanks!
