With support from Illinois Farm Bureau (IFB) Pollinator Conservation Grant and Growmark, Lee, Bureau, Marshall-Putnam, Stark, and Whiteside County Farm Bureaus (CFB) are once again partnering on a discounted pollinator seed sale program. With the help of AgView FS, the partnering CFBs are taking orders for pollinator seed ahead of spring 2023 planting. Seeding rates can vary for pollinator mixes and applications, but the recommended rate for this mix is around 5-10 pounds per acre.
Orders can be placed online or by calling the office at 309-364-2501. Orders and payments must be submitted by Monday, April 10th. Seed orders will be ready for pick up at the Farm Bureau office later this spring. Orders can be paid for at any of the partnering CFBs by Monday, April 10th. Please be sure to provide up-to-date contact information so you can be contacted once seed arrives.
