We will be visiting the following places:

Grand Detour John Deere's Childhood Home

Stand in the spot where John Deere created the first commercially successful steel plow and relive the experience of his original blacksmith shop. Discover where our story began.

John Deere Pavilion

This is a landmark in Moline. See some of John Deere's biggest machines.
In the Legacy area there are over 180 years of memories.

Historic Butterworth Center & Deere-Wiman House

Both historic homes once belonged to John Deere's descendants. Today, tours of the Deere-Wiman House offer visitors an authentic glimpse into Victorian family life and architectural innovations of the past century. The home's seven acres of formal gardens and walkways, as well as a child-sized playhouse and three-story carriage house, beckon guests to explore the same lovely setting enjoyed by residents more than a century ago. The Butterworth Center was built by Charles Deere as a wedding gift for his daughter. Visitors can wander the lush grounds. Interior tours of the Center lead guests through three floors of handsomely appointed rooms.

All proceeds benefit the M-P Farm Bureau Foundation!
