Winter Crop Insurance Meeting

On Friday, December 8, at noon at the Marshall-Putnam Farm Bureau building in Henry, farmers and landowners looking to learn about changes coming to the 2018 Federal Crop Insurance Program will get their chance during with winter crop insurance meeting.

COUNTRY Financial and the surrounding County Farm Bureaus are sponsoring this meeting to better equip farmers with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions. Doug Yoder, COUNTRY Financial Crop Agency Manager will cover ARC-CO and PLC payments and the projections for the remainder of the farm bill. He will also discuss changes to crop insurance, including Margin Protection and UUF/Third Party.

If you are unable to attend our meeting in Henry, you can attend the Bureau County Farm Bureau’s Winter Crops Meeting, which is on Thursday, December 14, at 9:00 a.m. at the Bureau County Metro Center in Princeton. If attending the Princeton meeting, please call the Bureau County Farm Bureau at (815)875-6468 by December the 8th so they can accommodate seating arrangements.
