32 Drivers enjoy the Young Leaders Tractor Drive
The 7th annual "Crops for College" tractor drive, hosted by the Marshall-Putnam Farm Bureau's Young Leaders group and sponsored by McNabb Grain Company and Ag View FS, took place on Sunday August 24th. This year it is was held in conjunction with the Putnam County Historical Society's Agricultural Museum Open House.
Thirty-two tractors braved the extreme heat as they departed from the Ag Museum in Hennepin and travelled through Putnam County.
All proceeds from the drive go to the Young Leaders "Crops for College" scholarship fund which awards scholarships each year to local students who plan to study agriculture in college.
The Marshall-Putnam Farm Bureau and the M-P Young Leaders would like to thank McNabb Grain Company and Ag View FS for sponsoring the drive this year.
